The last meeting of the CREATESkills project, coordinated by Mentortec since 2017, took place on 3rd October 2019 in Vilnius. With the aim to discuss and capitalize ideas of two years of work on promoting STEM in primary education, all partners had opportunity to:
? reflect collectively on a common path guided by challenges, overcoming, passions and successes;
? talk about what they gave and received to and from the project;
? define the strategy of continuity and maintenance of the resources developed under the project.
It is the intention of all partners to continue to invest in the area of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) by continuing the resources developed by the partnership, namely the “STEM on the WEB” Platform where teachers can create a European network sharing experiences, studies, activities and tools for working STEM with students in a more engaging way; and also the Toolkit composed by 41 activities in different areas from robotics, technology, natural sciences, mathematics, social sciences, engineering, arts and design that aim to facilitate the learning process and, consequently, the acquisition or maintenance of skills in this area.
